Set default subscriber tax setting

Set default subscriber tax setting

When a new subscriber is added to UBO or signs up online, a tax setting is automatically assigned if the criteria (City or State) for that tax setting are satisfied. This has been working well for cases when the subscriber’s billing address is in the regions for which you have set-up a tax setting. However, this leaves subscribers outside these regions without tax settings assigned to them, and thus, no tax is charged.
With the latest update to this feature in UBO, you can now set a default tax setting that will be automatically assigned to any new subscriber whose billing address does not satisfy the criteria of any other tax setting.

A simple toggle in the Tax Criteria, Rate, and Exemption Settings window marks one of the tax settings as the default subscriber tax setting.

You can click here for a more detailed instruction on configuring tax settings.
