Wireless Hotspot Subs in UBO

Hotspots are trending. You’re missing a big opportunity if you’re not offering hotspot services. Some of the largest and most successful ISPs that use UBO offer hotspot services to Multi-Dwelling Units (MDUs), college dorms, hotels, etc.. Serving these market niches is getting easier all the time with UBO.

Previously, subscribers that signed up on one of your hotspots could be managed only from the hotspot management interface at support.visp.net and they couldn’t be managed from UBO because the databases were separate… until now.
You can bet your best router that visp.net is committed to constant and never-ending improvement.  We’re pleased to announce now that the full power of UBO is available to you for these hotspot subscribers as well.

You’ll notice that only newly registered hotspot subscribers are visible in UBO. We’ve left the current system in place so that you can adapt at a comfortable pace. But if you’d like to port all subscribers that are still on the legacy Support Site database, simply send a request to import@visp.net that you’d like to move them over and we’ll take care of that for you.

You are the most important part of making UBO services better. Without you, there is no us.  That’s why we dedicate so much time each week to understand your challenges and how to streamline your operations to make your life easier.

So be a part of something bigger! Join a CEO roundtable on Tuesdays at 3 PM Pacific to improve your operations and those of other WISPs around the world. For support to get the most out of UBO or to receive a CEO Roundtable invitation, contact success@visp.net.

*Note: Only newly registered hotspot subscribers will be integrated into UBO. To request import of previous hotspot wireless subscribers from the Support Site to UBO, contact us at 541-955-6900.
