As a WISP, you can set speed limits for each of your wireless packages to limit your subscribers internet speed per package.
- Open ISP Configuration.
- Click Packages.
- Click on the package name which speed limits you want to change.
- Then click Speed Limits.
- Speed Limits – if checked, applies limitation to internet speed
- Download & Upload Speed – speed limit for upload and download
- Down & Up Burst – burst limit of upload and download (valid values are 0 and anything greater than Speed)
- Throttling – if checked, limits the rate at which a server accepts data
- After – max amount of data allowed before subscriber gets throttled or disconnected
- Throttle to – speed limit after reaching the amount of data specified in the After field
- Disconnect Subscriber – cuts the subscriber’s internet connection
- Allow speed limits and throttling to be modified per subscriber. – if checked, enables editing of individual speed limits and throttling settings in the Packages tab
- Apply – applies last-saved changes to subscribers with active wireless services
- Save – saves the recent changes
- Restore – cancels recent changes
- Close – closes ISP Configuration window
