The deadline for ISPs to dispute stimulus applications is on May 23, and there may be just enough time for you to protect your coverage areas. This is crucial because once a Rural Utilities Service (RUS) grant has been awarded in an area, any other application for that area will no longer be considered. Thus, you have to make sure no one gets to your areas before you do. Moreover, involvement in the state broadband mapping is irrelevant – whether or not you’re on the state broadband map, you still have to go to the RUS.
To dispute applications, you have to create and activate an account, make a list of your areas, and go over the applications there.
