Automate the Reactivation of Hibernated Packages

This feature allows you to automatically reactivate customers who have been hibernated in the system. There are two ways to trigger this: one is within the package, and the other is in the billing options of the customer’s profile. Note that reactivating a hibernated package may cause proration, so be aware that billing may also reactivate when a customer is reactivated.

1. Search for the subscriber or select from the list.

2. Click on ‘Hibernated’ via the billing status filter, and select a hibernated subscriber from the list.

3. Click on the customer’s package in the Packages / Services section.

4. Click on the package header.

5. Scroll to the Package Auto Actions section.
Here are the next steps:

    1. Enable the “Perform Auto Actions” option for this Subscriber’s Package if it is disabled.
    2. Place your cursor on the arrow after the sentence.
    3. Hover on Auto-Reactivate
    4. Select “On a specified date”
    5. Select the date of reactivation using the date picker.
    6. Save your changes when done.

6. Close the Packages / Services panel and go back to the Subscriber’s main profile.

Enable Reactivation in Billing Options

7. Place your cursor on the arrow after “Set Auto Actions”

8. Hover on Auto-Reactivate and select “On a specified date”

9. Use the date picker and select or input a valid date format.

10. Important: The date should not be earlier than the hibernate date.

11. Save your work when done.

Automate the Reactivation of Hibernated Packages

To automate reactivation of hibernated packages in VISP, enable auto-reactivation, set a reactivation date using the date picker, and save changes.

Enable cancellation surveys in CRM, archive the subscriber with a reason, and view archived accounts in the Archived table.

Upgrade Subscriber Service or Package

To upgrade a subscriber’s package, add a new package, move active services to it, and confirm changes. The old package will become inactive automatically.

Suspend a Package

To suspend a subscriber’s package, select the subscriber, choose the package, and click “Suspend.” All services in the package will be suspended. To unsuspend, click “Unsuspend.”

Hibernate a Package

To hibernate a subscriber’s package, open their account, select an active package, and click “Hibernate.” This will stop billing until reactivation. Note: Only internet service packages can be hibernated.

Usage-Based Billing

Enable it in Main Menu > Billing Tab > Packages > Provisioning. For individual subscribers, configure settings under Usage-Based Billing in their package. Save changes.

How to Delete a Package

To suspend a subscriber’s package, select the subscriber, choose the package, and click “Suspend.” All services in the package will be suspended. To unsuspend, click “Unsuspend.”

Deactivate a Service

Select a subscriber, go to Packages and Services, expand the package, choose the service to deactivate, and click Deactivate.

Change or Update Subscriber Internet Speed

Select a subscriber > Packages > expand package details > go to Speed Limits to adjust speeds. Save.
