2. Enable the following options in the Global Package IP and MAC Settings.

a. Auto-populate IP address from RADIUS
b. Auto-update MAC address for single-device Internet services during username-password authentication.

If Visp automatically assigns IP addresses for you, enable the setting, called the “auto-reassign IP address” in Visp.

c. Auto-reassign IP address when a more recent wireless device login is detected.

3. Setup and Configure the IRM

Preseem gets site equipment and customer details from VISP. It uses the (Tower, Sector/Sub-Location) model for equipment. APs are SNMP polled using the IP addresses in Visp.

Critical Requirements:

    1. Setup all your Sites or Towers , and their Sectors or Sub-Locations .
    2. Make sure that the Inventory item (Serial, SKU) is tied correctly to the equipment for the integration to work.
    3. Add Access Points (AP’s) with their IP addresses populated in the IRM. MAC addresses are also important but not a requirement for setting up Preseem.

Optional:

    1. Populate your Subscriber devices (Subscriber-type or CPE’s) and then connect them to your Access Points (AP’s).
